Duties and Responsibilities: An orthopedic surgeon, or orthopaedic surgeon, is a surgeon who has been educated and trained in the diagnosis and preoperative, operative, and postoperative treatment of diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system.
Salary:For orthopedic surgeons, the lowest reported average salary was $378,062 a year and the highest was $576,350 per year. Most fell between $450,000 and $550,000 per year. For example, staffing firm Merritt Hawkins reported an average of $521,000 per year, with a low of $300,000 and a high of $700,000.
Education:After completing a 4-year bachelor's degree program in biology, pre-medicine or a related field, aspiring orthopedic surgeons must complete four additional years of medical school, followed by a 4- to 5-year orthopedic surgery residency in a hospital.

I think that I would and I wouldn't like to be one because it has a good pay but like most of my other reflections you should already know that it is the schooling that doesn't interest me.
