Duties and Responsibilities:Neurosurgery, or neurological surgery, is the medical specialty concerned with the prevention, diagnosis, surgical treatment, and rehabilitation of disorders which affect any portion of the nervous system including the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and extra-cranial cerebrovascular system.

Salary: $395,000

Education:The first step toward becoming a neurosurgeon is earning a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Generally, it takes 3-4 years to complete a bachelor's program. You might consider pre-med or a related major, such as biology or chemistry.

Reflection: Do you think you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?

I think that i would and i wouldn't like to become a neurosurgeon because yeah you get paid a lot but also you have to go to school for an additional like 6 to 8 years and when i finish high school i ain't trying to go to school any more much less 6 to 8 years.
